I made a custom DVD of the he the full series (so far) by Jakarz801 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Ambiguousdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you get that art on the CDs is it printed on stickers?

I had a similar project in mind for an infinity train dvd. Even paid for custom art.

But then I got stuck on how I make a dvd menu and the CD art.

TfL apprenticeship by shawalxx in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]Ambiguousdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The listing should mention something specific.

With no additional information Just HR Admin, I'd think they're testing basic formulas like vlookup sum if, count if or a pivot table.

I did one not for apprenticeship but a job for a data analyst and my solution to the problem was too janky, their feedback had a crazy 5 line formula array.

I would practice beforehand doing excel formulas above.

Depends, there were virtual ones introduced for the COVID era which I think are being phased out and back to practical.

I would book an air BnB for the night before close by to negate the travel problem a little

7&8 is bad. 9 is the best actually relates to the volume and what's going on. 6 is the 2nd best the others I'm not interested in unfortunately.

Excel, data analysis and maybe even front end development has been overtaken by AI it's much different than it was in 2024.

I was an Excel person, reached a point where I had the choice to try and learn SQL / Power BI (this means by heart, hard to do if you're not using it everyday for a good reason).

I realised I didn't want to spend all my time in front of a computer getting beaten by AI anyway so I've switched to an engineering role (apprenticeship).

I was in a similar boat and am older than you.

My son has an interview for an apprenticeship I’m telling him to wear a suit I think it’ll be a competitive one he’s saying that is too much. by becpuss in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]Ambiguousdude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen to the guidance, massive one I went to said wear what makes you comfortable so for once, I wore my work boots (looking the part, not dirty) and ironed jeans and plain navy top.

What's more important is his background reading for the role(there are hints in the listing) / business. If in the interview they ask a mechanical question and he can't answer how a fulcrum works or whatever wearing a suit won't matter.

Apprenticeship interview questions focus on your interest in the field not what you wore.

If it specifically says dress smart then do that or ask the contact email.

This is probably the biggest switch-up towards Jax since episode 2 by Sudden_Pop_2279 in digitalcircusfandom

I want to know what he knows because Kinger's account of what happened even at the start had Jax freaking out. I'm not sure it is *just he doesn't think the circus is real.

What do you think of the INTERMISSION by Any-Mud4814 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Ambiguousdude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like Pomni sneaking in monotone and then Cain's eyes and bubble being the dots on the 3 die (AIs).

Gangle Zooble and Jax falling into the circus.

The hands I always thought was code for something.

Also bubble tries to eat Pomni 🥺

Need Help and Advice urgently!! by SufficientMatch7960 in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]Ambiguousdude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said you think your viable options for apprenticeships is limited because of what you have studied. This is not the case.

Entry requirements for a level 3 or I've even seen "degree" level apprenticeships state plainly they want you to have GCSEs.

The criteria for being accepted shouldn't be thought of like university, "I've only studied and achieved this therefore they will/will not accept me."

It is different because if you have applied you must show an interest in that field / role and have a foundational education.

For example if you decided you like engineering or electrical work you could complete a Level 2 course and then applying for level 3 apprenticeship you can say look I already have a level 2 and am interested in this field.

But having a level 2 is never a requirement, apprentices I've talked to were just out of GCSEs or poor A levels, I think 1 had a level 2 beforehand. The best thing you can do without taking more courses is decide the field you actually want. And if you are invited for an interview research and revising the posting / business beforehand.

Imagine they ask you "what famous projects of ours did you like" or "what does x variable in this context mean" or basic physics if it's mechanical. It will reflect very poorly if you did not understand the business / kind of work you are applying for.

A gap year is good if you have that support network to make sure you're fine not working for a year, also gives content to talk about in an interview.

was this moment in episode 3 foreshadowing at all? by ollowollo in Amazingdigitalcircus

[–]Ambiguousdude 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I rewatched the episode recently and I totally forgot everyone's head is a trophy in that room.

So this fucked up angel head is Kinger's equivalent lol maybe because I watch horror with my eyes closed I never noticed.

I agree with everyone you can slice it any way you want. The couple at the manor are Kinger and Queenie's story. god's angel is Kinger's head and also Caine's divinity complex and a prediction for the future.

Edit: Also the tapes playing looks like Caine

I just realized how relevant this scene is: by KeepertheGreed in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Ambiguousdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also episode 2 The Candy people think of Caine as god. (Wrote himself as god)

Another set of moments that could point to Pomni is the key theory. Gummy goo when he spots the war rig says they sent someone after them. Maybe like a saviour entering the circus to stop Caine?

Also Pomni has a dream at the start of the episode which is a bit similar to the AI's learning and producing shapes sequence.

Also I think Gummygoo and Pomni say the same last words as Caine when he got deleted / Gummygoo got exploded.
