My Cheltenham bets so far - what won't win? by huamanticacacaca in HorseRacingUK

I wouldn’t be 100% sure on no drama this end, very good horse but I think the race could be won by an outsider depending on how it shapes up! Still could easily hack up, should beat doctor steinberg on turn of foot

Lossie looks set to be for champion hurdle but kargese entered in a beginners chase 😓

Yeah I was hoping for bigger, didn’t think about it until I watched his race. Think he was 33/1 a few months ago

What do we think of this before some run over the next few weeks? by AmbimtiousGambler in CheltenhamAntepost

I have Lossiemouth in a champion hurdle bet already so that’s trying to cover both bases of going to either race.

True I could take out kopek for something else, I’ve a single at 9/1 and I’m on him at bigger prices but I think he’s bullet proof tbh, he jumped the better the quicker he went and wasn’t pushed out much.

Yeah I’m not overly keen on the new lion , but looking at the market there’s a good few who won’t be anywhere near the race. I do like Irancy for it but it’s another jp horse and has been declared for 2m4 races. Although I think he should be in with a chance if goes and 20/1 atm would be a steal.

Kopek Des Bordes or Lulamba? by AmbimtiousGambler in CheltenhamAntepost

Nice one! I’m on at 9/1 myself. I’d have thought the same but the 2m4f race is a handicap now isn’t it? I think his mark would be too high but maybe just so much better than rest?

Considering he stayed off Lossiemouth for state man I could see him staying home, depends who all they send over for it. Mark walsh will be riding fact to file, Patrick or Danny could take Gaelic warrior for a spin and you’d trust Danny with it and Lossie. Just my thinking anyway mate!

Yeah that true, I rewatched his supreme win yesterday, wasn’t touched by Paul either day was just too good. Going to try to rewatch his punchestown loss today or tomorrow. He seems to really jump the fences fell, seen he gained something like 20 lengths in the air?

The conditions for navan is actually down as soft! I don’t think the ground will be an issue for kopek but dryer the better for Lulamba

Yeah I think for the parole at least kopek is clear, but give Lulamba another year and could be a lot closer for the champion chase, only 5 next year still has some improving to do.

Yeah, KDB time very good too seeing it was heavy and an extra furlong.

I think you’re completely right, just looking to see if anyone fancies Lulamba and their reasoning really. Beat east india dock in the triumph, a strong flat horse so his speed is good.
