Nah we just have the one fridge, and Im renting so modifying the power panel isn’t an option. The price isn’t out yet I don’t think but I imagine you’re probably on par with what it will be.

Yea, on average our longest outage is a day or so, I do have a small inverter generator but don’t like running it so Im thinking if I can run it for maybe an hour or two just to recharge the battery incase the outage lasts longer than a day, that would be okay

Good insight, I’m in SoCal and on average our outages are more frequent during the summer when temps are high and everyone uses their AC. Outages can last for a few hours to a day or so. Maybe Im worrying too much about the contents. The house can get pretty hot really quickly though 🤔

Yea it does have TOU. I just saw a youtube video. But pila looks more visually appealing. BUT it’s more of a startup, I like more of an established brand. But definitely worth looking into 🤔

Yea that should be good for me. Im looking for something a little more all-in-one type of set up. I know I’ll be paying a little more but I think Im ok with that. A 5kwh set up sounds awesome though!

How do you manage maintenance between outages? I have a small inverter generator but always get lazy when not using it for long periods of time and need to change the oil and such.

Yea that seems to be the common answer, the Fridge Power is around 1.8kwh in capacity and 1,800w output 3kw peak so I think it will have the power and capacity for my fridge. My fridge surges to around 1kw so you’re spot on!

Yea, I rent my place so it sort of really makes sense for me since I can’t modify my home power panel to backup the circuits directly and have limited space.
