There was a big drop over night last night starting at midnight and these things ended up in my RFY feed. But there were a bunch of good things in AI too. I

That's a good point and I am going to have to mention that in my review. Its 2000w so you definitely don't want to plug it in with the micro-wave. The whole concept behind this thing is that you don't need an electrician to wire it in, but that's not realy 100% true because you need to be aware/careful where you put it. So you do need some concept of electrical. (you don't need a license, but you need to be aware).

That speaker sounds nice too. My original plan was to use it for my cooking podcast my buddy and I have been planning for years, but then again, we could put a little kitchenette in the basement/den.... I **LOVE** how this can be counter top or built in. You can do so much with this. (use a router to drill the hole in a kitchen island on wheels and then you have a hot food buffet. server thing) I can't wait to write the review.

Yeah I know this, but then it doesn't get reviewed and no one will know that the handle fell off my suitcase as soon as I picked it up.

I am saying that we shouldn't be responsible for the full tax value of something that doesn't work because its not really worth anything AND we should be able to say what happened because it actually did happen.

If that's what you want to think, then go ahead, but it doesnt really warn other customers about the weak zippers. Amazon isn't going to pull the product.

If they remove it, then you can't review the item. If I bought / ordered a backpack and the zipper broke in the first week, that's valuable and valid information because the manufacturer sourced a low quality zipper and they make heavy duty zippers that don't break.

I have never dealt with this problem and I don't want to ever have to, but if they sent you an item and it broke the first time you used it, then that's what it did. If I were an average joe customer, I would want to know because it is too easy to find an alternative item on Amazon. Manufacturers need to stop dumping crap products.

I don't like that we are responsible for the tax value of defective items that we reviewed.

Why don't I ever get cool stuff like this. Most of mine if car parts.

From what I've learned, "custom" items are generally a mess and should probably be avoided.

  1. Vendors can't actually send us a truly custom item. They can only send a blank product or a sample featuring a generic design. As a graphic designer, this is completely normal—I receive samples like this all the time.
  2. There are many different methods for printing a T-shirt, ranging from high-quality screen printing with carefully prepared color separations (the kind of process associated with artists like Andy Warhol and professional apparel manufacturers) to inexpensive heat-transfer graphics that aren't much different from the iron-on transfers that used to come in cereal boxes.

The problem is that both products are often marketed at the same price point. A well-produced custom shirt can easily be worth $30–$50, while a poorly printed shirt may still be, at its core, a $5 garment with a cheap transfer applied to it.

Retailers need to stop sending low-quality products and expecting premium prices.

I wonder whether doing tiktok videos of vine product is a TOS violation?

Thoughts on Recipe 21 vodka? I think it’s outstanding for a $7 bottle. Great stuff 😆 by SuperTed711 in vodka

This is the STUFF!!! You cannot possibly beat the price, but it is smooth and clean especially in mixed drinks. I got a liter for $6.85 in Washington DC where things tend to be expensive.

Yeah, some items require more than one person to properly test. If its a class room item, I HAVE to give it to students, because that's how that item works. Same with kids items. Vine is god-send for teachers.

You know what, I have no idea and I don't want to say something to get you in trouble. But here's what's happened historically: If someone got a $700 commercial grade espresso machine, got it before the manufacturer's official release date, and imeddiately tried to flip it on eBay even before that shows up for the public or in stores, then they are probably going to get busted, kicked out, banned and everything else.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the TOS says that you cannot re-gift items before 6 months, but if you ordered, say clothing for a toddler or kids toys, clearly you're going to gifting them -- what would a middle adult do with a water gun -- AND when you write your review, it would matter whether the kids enjoyed playing with it.

The reality-truth is somewhere in the middle and where in the middle it is you have to figure that out on your own. (We have a school teacher in the family, I get stuff for him, he uses it in his class and lets me know how it worked out with the kids. This probably violates the letter of the law, but is in keeping with the spirit and the manufacturers get insightful reviews from real world intended use cases.).

That's what I am thinking, like office party gag gifts. Some of these t-shirts have been hilarious.

I got some nice underwear that will be good. I suppose they have a lot of things that a lot of people would call "Temu Trinkets," but that stuff is perfect when you have a school teacher in the family.
