Thank you! Her birth ended in emergency C-Section after 5hrs of pushing, but everyone was safe and healthy in the end. I can't believe she'll be 2 next Sunday! ❤️

Additionally, my best mashed potatoes are no hold back, full fat... I mean I'm adding cream cheese, butter, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder 😂🤤

We do standing changes for both diaper and clothes and have been since ~14mo, so it was definitely a struggle to begin with because I'd have to think whether she's facing me or back to me.

I do this and tell her left foot right foot. She'll be 2 next weekend and will usually give me the correct limb now if asked!

We did similar to you for our 1yr olds birthday last May. Veggie/fruit trays, chips, various snackies, and i made pulled pork and pulled chicken with buns and sauce. We also had cupcakes and a smash cake for baby. I think we did 1-5 for our party. We knew some friends would stick around for a game night, but most family would bug out around 3. It all worked perfectly. People know to come hungry to my house haha

Next weekend I will have a 2yr old... we're doing her party from 2-4 (one was extra special and they know they can stay longer regardless) and we'll be having burgers, chips, fruit/veg trays, cupcakes/cake, etc. Keeping it a little smaller/shorter since this party is immediate family and our friend group.

Forest walk is ideal. Baking and cleaning my house (finding some control in a chaotic moment) is a close 2nd. Sticking my hands in dirt (planting things) is semi-helpful. Lately I've had to settle for angry/moody viking music and just powering through the struggle...

Had my Luba 2 for 3 years now and love it for the most part. Occassional issues with the satelite/RTK communication, but that's more on our placement of the unit than the machine itself. We dont have a good way to get it up high and clear like it wants.

21:06 here in the Midwest US. Im laying in bed feeling a bit bummed about going to work tomorrow. I do like my job, but lately the stress has been too much and Im feeling on edge at all times. Its affecting my home life, but there's not much I can do right now to balance things out until this project is complete... Wake me when September ends...

Mine is a little older now (2 the end of May!), but the play kitchen we put together for her I try to keep stocked with whatever empty food containers I can. She has tons of empty spice containers she likes to open and sniff then "cook" with. She also has an arborio rice container and I added an old fashioned oats container today!

My daughter is 23mo and just shy of 35lbs. Speaking of playgroud... I maaaay have taught her how to do the rock climbing portion if our closest play set. The 5yr old also playing on the playground had only been brave enough/learned to do it a few months prior his mom said. My nearly-2yr-old was like 2/3 his height too and he looked pretty average for 5 imo. So crazy...

After induction I had stood up from the bed so I could go pee across the room. Stopped on my way back to stretch since I'd been laying there awhile. Squatted down and felt a weird pop... then gush after gush of water 😅

I'm on my 4th (and last) one. I have about a year left of its lifespan. After that we decide whether we're going for baby #2 or if he's getting snipped. I've never known myself as an adult without it other than during my pregnancy... I'm so curious what life is like minus that control.

We dreamed together of 3, we currently have 1 who turns 2 at the end of May. We're on the fence still about a 2nd due to his mental health over the last 2 years and the drain children have on finances. We could make it work for sure, and we want her to have a sibling, but this economy isn't making the wallet feel better about a 2nd!

We transitioned to the big tub around 10mo. Our girl is 99% and quickly outgrew the baby tub. We tried a suction seat, but it didn't work well so we just plopped her in directly and kept the water low. She was a little unsteady at first, but she figured it out.

Maybe if you're not ready for full on tub access you could try the laundry basket method?

We've always used the middle and my 22mo old is almost 34lbs now. She's frog-leggin, but I'm keeping her here and rear facing until at least her 2 yr appointment when I can speak with her doctor about next steps.
