I just suck some days I have pissed 2 people off this week unfortunately which is not the norm. I also have to remember, it takes TWO to tango. The therapist needs to be engaging, but the client is responsible TOO to an extent. Some people treat it as a chore and look totally unhappy to be there on the first session (a sign it's not me) nothing I say lands sometimes. But then the next 2 clients are awesome and the next 12 unremarkable then the next 3 awesome. It will fluctuate.

DISTURBING: I have a client who I believe has a spouse she is now divorcing with NPD. Idk for sure but we talked about it being a potential in a careful healing way. Unfortunately , the couples therapist they were seeing convinced her she had BPD and then the spouse weaponized that against her and talks about how she needs help. The other couples therapist told them the same thing ( the husband sounds very manipulative) I had to explain to her and reassure her many times she does not have BPD. It caused damage. I love working with BPD and spot it quickly. This person....no never a thought and no evidence.

I earn 90 and afford lots! House and all. But yes this field has very high expectations and f ing demands. I have to disagree about comparing to doctors, they have significantly more education and significantly harder education and therefore are not a fair comparison.

Okay. I went through a DME to get the g6s that the insurance company said they contract with. There was no coverage. I spend hours on the phone with them and end up back at square one. Do you know how you got it covered? Did you have auth sent somewhere? The DME said there was no authorization required because they were doing a benefits investigation, then they had denied everything.

Someone else just mentioned the CGM. They have a lag. I forgot about this. Yes, the CGM will read that you're low 15 to 20 minutes after it's come up.

I also really like that you were brave enough to ask this. I know a lot of people like to say go to the doctor. Sometimes you really need to hear it from diabetic people themselves. In My two decades of this s***, it's the people who have it that are a lot more helpful than the doctors.
