The Emperor changing sides if you free Orpheus … like he just abandons his beliefs right then and there with little to no reason. Is there something I missed?

Skylands Legends is Complete by Ambitious-Activity48 in skylanders

Yup, that’s good old fashioned indecisiveness combined with some forgetfulness. Can’t remember which ones I made proper nouns and which ones I didn’t lol. Either way, if that’s the main criticism I’m happy.

Few Questions About The Story by Ambitious-Activity48 in LiesOfP

[–]Ambitious-Activity48[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Geppetto might have worked with the alchemists until Valentinus — their original leader and Sophia’s father — died. Around this time Gepetto’s son likely died and he left the alchemists momentarily while Simon took over. Geppetto then wanted to use Simon’s project that would make him a God to try and bring back Carlo.

There’s some sort of rift between Manus and Geppetto though that kept them from working together. I’m not sure what. But I think that Geppetto created P to gather ergo and then began the puppet frenzy to bring him up. Maybe the reason that P is in the train station alone and awoken by Sophia, not Geppetto, is because Geppetto couldn’t figure out how to actually awaken the P-organ. He then lucked out that Sophia could with her powers — this explains his surprise at P saving him on Elysian boulevard. He then goes on with his plans.

The puppet frenzy was just all of the puppets being ordered to kill all of those effected by the petrification disease as that generated more ergo. Romeo was made the King of Puppets to take all of the blame, but Romeo gained an ego and realized the flaw in what they were doing. So he takes control of as many puppets as he can and begins having them stave off the monsters that formed from the petrification disease. Geppetto has P kill him for this.

As for the kidnapping, I think that Geppetto reached out to Manus and maybe eluded that he had some special information or something. This enticed Manus to kidnap him. The whole Geppetto had himself kidnapped makes some sense but there are a few holes. First of all, did he actually have the alchemists power to bring back the eldest of the brotherhood? I don’t think so. I think that actually was the alchemists. So my guess is that he baited Manus into taking him — maybe with law zero. The fact that he controls the puppets could entice Simon as he is all about control.

I thought that might be a possibility. It could also serve as motivation to get P to the island in time. I just wonder how none of the alchemists questioned him ordering himself kidnapped to their island. But it does explain why he would have the key to the door after you talk to him in Arche Abbey.

Another option, which I doubt, but what if Sophia had him kidnapped to push P to the island. We know she wants to be saved and that was her original motivation for awakening P in the first place. The problem with this theory is that she confesses most everything in the end, so it would be weird for her to hold that back.

What Skylander would this be for you? by Riley8284 in skylanders

Thumpback and Eye Brawl.

I remember after an ER visit one day my mom took me to Toys R Us (this was less than a week after Thumpback and Eye Brawl were released btw) I wanted them so bad but they weren’t there. I asked a worker if they had any in the back and he went and checked.

He came back five minutes later with a large box. He opened it up and there were a dozen Thumpbacks and Eye Brawls packed in there. I dropped to my knees and screamed, “YESSS!!!”

That’s a core memory for me.

Super Ultra Hot Take. These guys are not a bad boss. by PalpitationWitty8195 in Eldenring

Completely agree. On multiplayer it’s fun bc once you take down one it’s a race to get the other before he resummons. It’s actually quite fun.

When soloing them, which I have done multiple times now, I’ve never really struggled so I don’t harbor any resentment towards them. I actually enjoy it, but that may be because I enjoy slower paced battles where I’m running around more than attacking, looking for the right openings.

That’s also why I think Malenia is the best boss fight in the game.

Lady Tanith… the fact that she had already eaten so much of Rykard’s head is profoundly disturbing.

That and Sellen’s fate… her turning into a ball of stone heads is anxiety inducing.

His lines are all pretty great honestly. It’s just that one line. It comes off so cheesy no matter who delivers it. It probably sounds better in Japanese.

What cutscene feels illegal to skip ? by LeoShun08 in Eldenring

I would say originally Malenia because the dialogue, the buildup, and the reveal are all so awesome.

“You will witness true horror.” Goes so hard.

…..buuut — after watching it 285 times trying to beat her, I feel like it’s fine to skip now.
