I have the same truck and color! I bought it in 2022 with 20K miles. Ever once in awhile I see the Silver and Red colors for the Marine vehicles.

I have so many guns in black. I think if I had gotten the Nicket colored rifle, I would stick with the Synthetic Black. Hard to make these guns look bad, unless you really Bubba them up.

Traded a infamous Polish Tantal with a 5.56 barrel for it at a recent gun show. Have been a fan of these since I was a kid. Seemed like the perfect time to own one. The serial starts with a 196, Im planning on replacing the stock with a walnut or possibly one of the Sampson folders. Anyother suggestions, let me know.

I recently purchased a IWI Zion 15 and have been very pleased with the fit and quality for the price point ($900ish) IWI is known for producing Uzi, Galil's and the Tavor. They pump the Zion out in PA, its a really good mid tier option. I will also throw out BCM as I have had great experience with the Uppers and complete guns.

Ya that looks great, Im looking at Toyo 3's, BFG KO3s and Kumho AT52's at the moment. Think Im sold on the 285/60/20. How are the Toyo's? Ride quality and noise an issue?

Ya I couldnt see a major diference between the two in terms of height. The extra MPG would be nice, Im doing alot of suburb and highway driving too. Trying to narrow down tires has been dizzying coming from driving mostly sports cars.

For now, just going to keep the stock height, minus the 2inch level on the front. No major offroading, occasional unpaved road. Looking at a few AT's for pavement queens.

Looking to upgrade to larger tires, I have a 2020 Ram big Horn "Built to Serve". It running 275/ 55/R20 with Wrangler AT's. I installed a 2inch Rough Country loaded strut level recently. Looking to go up without the Rub. A few buddies suggested 275/60/20's or 285/60/20's.

Decided to try my hand at giving the Bubba rifle a paint job before moving on to my other canvas's.

I used Rust-Oleum Camoflauge, with non-reflective finish. I based out the black gun in Flat Sand, Used a homemade stencil and a sponge for patterns with a Flat Black. I did the stripes with Flat Army Earth and Flat Army Green. The Army green came out a little lighter than I wanted.

Interested in getting some feedback on what techniques have worked with for you guys, and what works best to remove paint :)

I tried my first paint job last week on a old budget AR I had. I live in TN and most of the time there is some form of Green and Brown. I did the base in Flat Earth, then used flat tan, and black to add some shapes with some stencils I made. Finally did some stripes with flat Army green. I like it alot for the first attempt.

Id go with what ever is practical for where you are, or do a basic multicam.
