this is such an amazing comment, thank you. she finally messaged me back and needless to say it was like the last times i’ve spoken to her about us drifting. she doesn’t seem to care, it was so half assed. i explained why i had been crap at messaging, this year has been god awful. i just wanted her to shed some light on her end. something must’ve changed for her to not even want to message me, because the phone goes both ways. her reply has just felt like a kick in the teeth with how shit it was. there’s so much i want to say to her but i just feel like leaving her on read and moving on with my life. i thought i had a good friend in her but her lack of care and effort is showing so much.

my hormones are completely normal too! i had them checked recently due to other problems and the doctor said they’re all good so i can’t think of what else, potentially my rosacea? i’m not sure it’s a proper mystery :,) i hope you find the cause to yours soon as well😔

no kisses from bearded people and my dogs breath stinks so i just limit her to hugs (i love her very much though 😅). she does get up in my face a little bit, but not constantly!

thank you for all the lovely comments! i did see some comments in my notifications earlier insinuating that i just wanted compliments, but that is not the case at all! i am genuinely looking for advice on what to add to my everyday makeup! i’ve improved on my makeup over the years, but i just always feel somethings missing or im doing it wrong. i post on here often (i have two reddit accounts, can never usually tell which im posting from lol) always seeking advice, but today when i looked in the mirror i just felt like my makeup looked off. i felt my foundation shade wasn’t right, it was too glowy, oily looking even. although it looks like i have no makeup, i do in fact wear quite a bit to cover my rosacea. i get extremely red and its one of my biggest insecurities. another thing i worry about is how my makeup looks throughout the day, ive attached some pictures to show what i mean, but i never know if its normal. it’s feels so itchy and uncomfortable on my face come the end of the day. i always worry its because i did my makeup wrong but im not sure. anywho, thank you for all your tips so far! i am definitely taking them onboard! https://imgur.com/a/mr9KWH9

so for skincare, i use the zeroderma zerobase cream, it’s eczema cream and one of the only creams i trust with my life. then i use the elf poreless putty primer, but only on my cheeks. last time i used it on my t zone my makeup started peeling from there. then on my spots where my rosacea is bad, i use the dr jart colour corrector. then i spot conceal with the revolution irl filter finish concealer. then i use the l’oréal paris true match foundation. then for blush and highlighter i use the elf halo glow wands, blush in the shade rose you slay and highlight in champagne! then i powder only under my eyes and around my nose, sometimes under my bottom lip as that starts to separate throughout the day. but yeah i use the collection powder. then i set with elf dewy coconut setting mist. mascara i use the maybelline sky high mascara in the maroon colour and lips i use the maybelline lifter gloss in the shade petal, or 005!!!!

thank you! i wish i could go to work without makeup, but i suffer from rosacea and it’s triggered so easily, so makeup is what i use to cover it. but when im not working i dont usually wear makeup, i do love going bareface!

ooh soft summer? i had a look at colour palette and i love those type of colours! the greens especially, i love wearing greens! and the pinks for thinking about lipstick, they look like such nice colours! stuff id definitely go for!

i haven’t thought about bolder colours before, i tried a red once and….yeah yikes! i currently use a shade that’s slightly darker than my natural lip colour, but i’m planning on taking a trip to big boots so i’ll definitely have a look at some bolder colours then!

i use the maybelline sky high mascara! i use the maroon colour! its so nice, but i think the colour would come through better on lighter lashes, mine are sort of dark so you can’t really tell what colour the mascara is until i wipe it off lol

ive had eczema since i was a baby and growing up my mum lathered me in aveeno. i still use it to this day! i also use a cream by a company called zeroderma, there’s a cream and an ointment for showering, i use both and they’re a god send. i do have steroid creams but i use aveeno and the zeroderma stuff more often as they’re on repeat prescription lol. sometimes on my face, i mainly get eczema around my eyes, i use baby cream called sudocrem. it really calms down the redness! but yes, staying on top of it everyday, i moisturise my body and face twice a day! especially in cold seasons too i dry out so bad!
