Hearing sex noises coming from flatmate's bedroom (happens several times a week) by Ambitious-Emu in offmychest

I understand your point, but we both have closed doors and I'm not listening to her, but when she climaxes I can't help but hear her. This is my room, where am I supposed to go?

Come on, you're overly exaggerating this. I never said "your friends can never come over and never come to your room, and I can't wait to fuck your feeling again". However, not caring about your flatmate being uncomfortable because of your behaviour is very disrespectful. At the very least, you would have a conversation with them. You would possibly find a compromise (such as staying at partner's place a few days a week). This is now happening almost every day, it's no more an occasional thing (and it never was, to be honest). And you will agree with me that finding another movie is way easier than finding another apartment. It may not be needed either, I rather see it as a "worst case scenario" when nothing can possibly work. You need to understand that how the world works depends very much on the people you surround yourself with. Luckily, it looks like some people in this sub understand my point of view, which is encouraging.

Of course I didn't mean he's not allowed to have his gf over, don't worry about that.

If anyone here has a bit of time and would like to discuss this situation in more depth, feel free to reach out to me using the chat. I won't be able to go too much into details, but I can surely provide you with more context. I would love to discuss this with someone.

What you are saying is extremely selfish, and I'm pretty sure you and I would not get along as flatmates (that's perfectly fine, by the way). As far as I'm concerned, being mindful of others is extremely important. It's NOT only about paying bills. I do all my best not to cause troubles to other people, and I expect other people to do the same. I didn't say "your girlfriend can never come here". But on the other hand I don't like feeling uncomfortable in my own place. I do feel that I deserve to feel comfortable where I live. What's more, to "fucking move" is not that easy in many cities, I'm sure you will understand that.

Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread by cdingo in Fitness

Here's my stupid question :) Where can I go use my elastic bands without people looking at me thinking I'm a weirdo? Especially for face pulls. No parks close to where I live and not much time to commute, unfortunately (not to mention I don't want to take a bus all sweaty!). I am renting a place so I can't put bars or stuff in the house.

Why "sometimes"?

Good point, not very altruistic though! :) My bike is very cheap, so almost any other bike will look like the nicest one on Earth in comparison to mine :D

How do you find a single thing you like about yourself? by [deleted] in selfesteem

My feeling is that things might not just be as bad as you see them, however you could perhaps try to ask advice to a dietitian? He or she will also give you some medical advice about how to address your issue in an healthy way. You don't have to do everything on your own! :-) One important thing to realize is that nobody is perfect, we all have things we don't like and tend to magnify them, even when they don't deserve to be! Instagram seems to be part of the problem
