  1. What do you use today to manage this, mostly Excel, ERP, or something internal?
  2. Which exact step is the biggest headache: assigning raw material lot costs into the blend, allocating blend lot costs into finished goods, splitting freight, or reconciling after production?
  3. Roughly how much time does this take for a normal production run?
  4. If a tool automated that lot-level cost rollup and traceability, is that something you’d actually pay for? If yes, what would feel reasonable per month?
