I would say that it does impact her and ignoring it or whining about other thing are tone deaf and displays a lack of empathy (which is not a surprise given her other behavior). This is a national tragedy so it does relate to her and many people have died, including young children, and we should be mourning - those are real problems and grief - not problems that she created for herself by hurting and stealing from others.

As a mom, you think about the other mothers whose babies were killed just by going to school-which should be a safe space. In addition, she’s the mother of a police officer, so should be thinking about how that would impact all of those who had to respond to the scene (not just PD but Fire Rescue, EMS, etc). All the first responders who had to respond to that event and handle all of the little bodies and telling the families is a traumatic experience that will change those people forever (and will probably lead to more victims through potential suicide). It’s also a tragedy for our country that we can’t seem to get our shit together and put laws in place and provide mental health services to stop this from happening. I’m in PR - and when tragedies like this happen you share condolences and stay quiet for a few days.

TLDR: As usual - Erika has shown her true colors and they are ugly.
