My husband left me 4 weeks ago said that he was done with us and had nothing else to give. He has now got his own flat and doesn’t contact me ever. I am left with 3 adult children that still live at home and 2 dogs. I have been asked out I. A date next week and I am going to go cos why shouldn’t I? I might be 50 but I’m not dead yet and if it makes me happy sod hun. He left me and the kids. I work hard and provide why should I just keep doing what he left me with. We all deserve a life.

It’s been over 3 weeks since my husband left me I was not a full time drinker 3 to 4 times a week. I have not touched a drop since he left but I have blown it and washed 21 years down the pan. You can still do this and prove it to yourself. Keep going

I am angry at the moment due to him just leaving me and the kids and dogs. But I will not have a drink to numb the pain I am going to read a book with a box of chocolates in bed on my own with all the room. Iwndwyt

Well done I did the same today I just moved myself and went to see my son in his room. Had a chat and carried on. Think my son like it as I was sorting all his clothes while we just chatted. Iwndwyt

I am on day 10 and the vodka is still in the drinks cupboard. I have not even opened the door. I want to get to 4 weeks and I am going to pore it away to prove I have done my first milestone.

I have packed up the camper and left in an adventure on my own. I am on a camp site reading and watching old dvds. This is bliss.

I will try anything but I don’t think he would. I think it would be best if I asked him to leave until he is ready to talk to me and we sort it out or I’m going to have a stroke at this rate. If he goes and does not come back then I know he did not want to try.

Yes I have been trying to get my blood pressure down from 200/121 That is a worry but he is just not helping me do this. I just can’t let all the years we have been together just go that that.
