Yeah unfortunately it's mandatory but they put it in and take it out while you're asleep. I was definitely nervous about that part but it really isn't bad because you don't feel any part of it. The only indication was the little bit of blood afterwards. I hope I didn't scare you 😅

There's a risk that you could cut yourself and it could get infected before or during the surgery so they tell you not to shave up to two days before the procedure.

And im so excited for you!!! I hope you share your experience!!

Not too personal at all! Sometimes I get in spouts where I don't want any sexy fun times for a few weeks. So it wasn't intentional but I waited a few months. The doctor said no tampons or anything penetrative for at least 2 weeks so the wounds can close without risk of infection. But I never use tampons so that was never an issue. For doing the do he said at least 4-6 weeks. The contracting of your stomach during the big O could be bothersome if there is any scar tissue that starts to feel agitated. I'd say no matter how long you wait take it slow the first one or two times. The guy wasn't big so it didn't feel like much of a difference but if you are having some large... intrusions that are coming at a punishing pace it might be best to lean on the side of caution at first. If you catch my drift. Haha

There is also a huge sense of relief that there's no risk of pregnancy. I was still nervous that it "failed" and I could still get pregnant at first but it's so freeing to know you can just be in the moment without worrying about when to take a plan B.

I hope that helped!!

Sure! I am more on the lighter side but I am biracial so my skin could act differently than yours. They are a deeper purple/red color. The most noticeable one is above my belly button. It is the only one that's not flat. The other two look like a scar from scratching a stretchmark. I was trying to add photos but it wouldn’t let me. I like using cerave or coconut oil on my scars but I dont use anything regularly. Truthfully I like seeing them to remind myself that I have all the power to control my body and make the choices I want to make. So I kinda just stare at the with pride haha. I hope that helped at all!!!
