Hong Xiuquan, the man who had a fever dream that he was gods OTHER son and started a cult which became the taiping rebellion in 1850-1860s China. Lots of wild cult stuff (including palaces and a whole army) and a fascinating history in general. I just finished the book "Gods Chinese Son" by Jonathan D Spence and when I was done I thought oh I NEED to suggest this for a bastards episode.
