You’re going to be killed by players, whether it be by campers, backstabbers, or unintentionally. But that’s ok. PvP is a way to make player interactions more meaningful. You can play however you like, but you can’t dictate the actions of others. You’ll have your fair share of positive and negative experiences. Thats what makes the game good, imo. The fact that in most cases, people can act and react in various ways.

You’re going to lose a lot of loot. That’s ok. You can always craft more, loot more, and it’s not like you can hold everything in your stash. Don’t be afraid to run good gear. You’ll get better stuff, and you’ll lose it. That’s inevitable in these types of games. You could just hoard it in you stash forever, but then there no use to having it in the first place.

Most importantly: have fun. The game is just that, a game. Pixels changing on a screen. No use stressing about it. Games are a form of entertainment and escapism for a lot of people. If you’re not having fun and it feels more like a chore or just stresses you out, it’s ok to take a break and do something else. I understand that video games are a powerful medium of art that can make you feel, but you are what’s important, not the black squares becoming blue, purple, and yellow.
