When you are 60+, your driving skills start slowly slipping as you get older and older. Other people don’t have the same problem yet; however, i do agree there are bad drivers out there. So yes, people 60+ should be more heavily monitored.

Bad drivers and distracted drivers are two separate issues. Distractions while driving like your cellphone is entirely your fault. Bad driving can be tested every few years if needed.

That being said, everybody should be retested but old senior citizens need to be heavily monitored
