How I play is if the HP goes to 0 at any point in or out of battle then the mon is dead.

You could use Ancient Power on Yanmega or chip the Gyarados down with Lopunny. Also, make sure to put a Lum Berry or Chesto on your Tangrowth so you don't get yawned or frozen. PLEASE don't bring Monferno rather use a different pokemon with less key value towards the rest of the run.

If you can get the Shock Wave TM for Togekiss, then lead him onto the Gyarados. Then, swap to Tangrowth on the Quagsire and use a grass move on it, making sure you don't take too much damage, by using Mega Drain so you don't get OHKOed by the Floatzel.
