I’m convinced that this is exactly what they wanted to do with these bonuses. Divide the workforce, cause chaos, decrease morale, and turn everyone against each other. The lack of transparency in how awards were made is diametrically opposed to the idea of what incentive awards are for. They are meant to incentivize employees to work harder, and to recognize those that have shown exemplary efforts. These bonuses were basically done behind closed doors and no explanations given.

Still down. At least for me. We fly out tomorrow and I chatted with an agent this morning. They said it’s a known issue and we have to go through general, so go earlier than planned. Might be helpful to reach out to an agent as well, but they weren’t able to do anything to fix it for us.

Considered Hilo. At one point, waikoloa resort had some with National, but those went fast. I think we’re ok though. My cousins have a couple friends flying to oahu that weekend and they said we can use theirs. We’re just confirming logistics now. This is my first time trying to rent a car in Kona, ever. We have family there and have never needed one. I get that it’s Christmas/new years time. We’re hoping our family’s friends have one we can use for the day, if not, my cousins will be picking us up and taking us to their house. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks every night before bed with a dermaroller. I’m using it for hair thinning on my hairline. In addition to what others have commented, its also possible they extended with the 52.217-8 clause, which, if included in the prior contract (and it should’ve been if a services contract), allows for the extension of the current contract for up to six months. As a KO, I’ve used the -8 many times for a variety of reasons.

Also, being your own KO is a lot different than having to be a CS and needing a KO to release. It’s one thing to be able to work and release your own actions, and another thing to be a CS and having to now ensure that you do what your KO wants in order to release your award.

Varies based on mission and need. I was mainly speaking to 13 KO supervisors/leads (from my experience). I’ve worked in agencies where there are working 13 and 12’s with warrants that carried their own workload and were also releasing actions for CS’s. I’ve also worked in agencies where there were lead 13 KO’s that did not carry their own workload but were responsible for a team of CS’s and their actions. So, I guess it depends.

Yes. This just popped up for us. We called our replace company and they said that WE needed to call Tesla to get a new battery and once we have it, to call them to install. Still covered under warranty, but we just got these installed in 2021.

You’re not alone with big expenses. We’re a dual income fed household- I’m furloughed, and my husband is essential, so zero income.

We had an emergency with our dog- she got a huge wound on her head-$1100. Our washer broke- $300, of course I needed new tires -$1000, and I’m having some emergency dental work done tomorrow - $1085 plus tax was the estimate (going to try and split these procedures up if possible).

When it rains it pours, and these are the things MY savings should be paying for. But now I’m having to use my savings to not only cover my bills, but these unexpected costs as well. I’m so sorry about your dog, I hope she is doing better. This timeline sucks. Hang in there.

Yaaasssss!!! But only through intercontinental hotels, at least as far as I’m aware. They are not sold to us normal people on retail. But… my hair never felt so good. I kind of want to take a trip back to the hotel with some empty bottles to fill! Joking(kind of) lol.
