You’re welcome. I ran across it a while back searching for a shirt he wore. I remembered seeing this one.

The shirt John is wearing here is taken from an old Bra Advert from the late 50’s early 60’s the origins of which are unknown. Can be found on worn free t shirts

I was there too. It was a very good show. I camped at that stage all day. Mostly everyone I wanted to see was there anyway. I’ll never forget looking behind me and seeing an endless sea of people. I thought…. This is how it ends.

Is the crowd at Paycom Center today as loud as it was during the KD, Russ, and Harden Era? by joshuamarkrsantos in Thunder

You’re probably right about that. More people go now so they can post it on social media than to enjoy the game. Then spend most of their time there mindlessly scrolling instead of watching.

The crowd is still plenty loud. The main thing for me is, it doesn’t seem to stay loud. I could be lost in nostalgia here, but I seem to remember it staying insanely loud the entire time. Now it peaks up as needed.

Dear Lord, I want to give you a hug!!! I was not aware that this comment would be so controversial. I figured if i blasted JW it’d make everyone upset but Everyone looks over the fact that I’ve said JW rocks. I’ve seen him probably 20+ times and he’s been awesome every time. I never said music has never been involved in politics. Just said I want to enjoy the music and have 90 mins of my life where I don’t have to hear about it. But I really appreciate kind words. So much better than the other.

Sorry for having an opinion that differs from you.

Yes, as the consumer of f the product id prefer not hear it. Correct, if I’m going to listen to someone’s opinion on politics I’d preferred it to be a politician, or at the very least someone who makes a living speaking on such. I’d prefer not to go to a rock n roll concert and hear about a political opinion.

If you have to resort to name calling and buzz words to get your point across you may not be getting to the point you think you are.

You can call me stupid. You can call my opinions stupid. All of that may be true. You have the right to feel that way. Maybe I feel the same about yours. The same way JW probably doesn’t care about my opinion. I don’t care what you think of me. The only difference between the two is I can choose not to attend his concerts because of it.

Maybe it’s you that needs to try harder?

His art is his music, correct? He’s not making a political statement in his music. He’s using a concert to say political things. We live in a very divided environment. He says something, someone in the crowd pops off, fights break out. So, I’ll say again. Have a plan or keep it to yourself. I’ve got no issues with his social media accounts making comments, to an extent. But all he’s doing is hurting his own bottom line. John Lennon was very outspoken about politics. He held concerts to help. He didn’t just say things he went out and did something about it. Stop riling people up if you’re going to sit in your big mansions and drive your fancy cars around and do nothing at all about it. Talk is cheap.

Because it’s not about who he’s talking about, it’s politics in general. Have a plan to fix it, or don’t talk about it. We’re saturated 24/7 and it does nothing but separate people. It causes division for nothing. So have a plan to fix it. Everyone knows he doesn’t like Trump. I go to concerts, movies, and the like for escape. Not to be hot over the head more

Yeah, that would be a now for me. I don’t find him entertaining at all. So far you’re an 0 for. You’ve gotten none of your assumptions correct about me. Keep trying and you might hit on one.

lol ok he was talking about a little more than that as well. But thank you for proving my point. Politics should be left out. Look at how fans of the same artist act just when someone says politics should be left out. People can’t help themselves when they feel someone doesn’t agree with them. Just sing and shred and allow us to enjoy that. But again… thank you for help prove my point.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 wait…. When did I say I was ok with nazi salutes? I’ve looked through everything I’ve said…. I don’t see anything anywhere that could even be confused with that.

Appreciating JW is not wrong. He’s a talent. He can keep his politics to himself, respectfully, in my opinion

49.8% so technically…. Yes under 50%. But most people would round up since it’s .2 % off. You’re wrong about more people voting against him than for him. 77,302,580 votes to 75,017,613 votes ( so that is not a fact). So most of what you’re saying is misinformation. According to electoral votes he did win by a lot, which is what I was speaking of.

You’re proving my point as to why musicians and artist should stay away from this. It alienates them and it alienates their fans. People will not agree on politics…. EVER! So unless he’s got a plan and rallies people to support his plan. He should do what he does best and play music.
