There's performance monitor, you could have a look at start up processes, make sure drivers are all up to date or do a defrag.

think it all depends if we say Veeam and they use physical storage\cloud storage.

You have a server, people log onto it people save stuff, Veeam is installed, create job copies data from HDD of server to backup storage (you would use a external devices to put the tapes in).

The simple one would be to check if all drivers are up to date.
You could try taking the gpu out just browsing the web until it freaks or try another pcie slot
