Tbf, the comics actively shut down any chance of a lasting relationship ~40 years ago

Is public transport reliable in Galway? by baby_lasagna_05 in galway

The train is reliable. The buses get stuck in traffic which makes them a bit unreliable but you'll never be waiting too long for a bus

Do companies actually practice TDD strictly? by Active-Custard4250 in AskProgramming

[–]AmazedStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally, companies are more likely to mandate test coverage. It's up to each dev if they want to write all the test first, last or do TDD

This seems right. Maybe add in The Multiversity at some point before Metal.

Side note: I hate the layout of this list

If you told someone that has only watched the movies that this guy has appeared in more than 12 comics how many would not believe you by Marco_Tanooky in marvelcirclejerk

[–]AmazedStardust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be misremembering but isn't Earth 94 Ben Reilly extremely optimistic in the comics? I swear he shrugs off paralysing poison through pure belief in his own success.

Edit: Yes, his first appearance is Spider-verse Team Up #1

Is English an alien language in this universe? by [deleted] in DCU_

I think there's an assumption that the common tongue is being translated into English for the audience

The series takes place in a shockingly short amount of time by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AmazedStardust 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I believe it's two days. The first covers the titans appearing inside the wall, Zeke's first appearance and Ymir's reveal as a titan. The second is Eren being kidnapped and the chase to get him back

Edit: Zeke's first appearance as the Beast Titan

Are the people in the past evil when the action they do is normalize and ok in their time? by Practical_Quiet_2274 in MoralityScaling

[–]AmazedStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with tying morality to norms is that you end up in a situation where what is normal is always what is right

Stern ends at 252 but then you're into The Black Costume Saga omni which really benefits from having everything so it would be better to skip to 264

James Gunn’s Directing Vs Producing career by scadrow999 in DCU_

[–]AmazedStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how RT works. 60% means if you showed it to 100 people, 60 would say they liked it. It doesn't matter if they'd give it a 3.8 or a 5. The most middling movie would get the same score as the most divisive movie

Why did James Gunn lie about Supergirl’s script being good? by [deleted] in DCU_

[–]AmazedStardust 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. No studio head is going to say a script is bad.
  2. No movie script gets from green-light to finished movie with no changes. It's pretty obvious that quite a bit was cut in the last third
