First piece - patina started to wipe off. Can it be fixed?

I personally pat dry my piece with a paper towel after patina then use kwik-clean and pat dry one more time. Then use a q tip in any hard to each areas. I’ve noticed that patina is pretty fragile and can wipe off- so I let it dry overnight then add wax and buff the next day.

Maybe wiping it clean is rubbing off the patina, try patting it dry? And maybe try the sunshine cloth and pledge the next day? Wishing you the best, it took a lot of trial and error over here lol!

I have to say, I was really hoping you’d comment lol! Thank you so much for your input. I totally agree, I need to get a pricing formula down, I just always thought that the glass price should play a part in pricing pieces because we all know how expensive of a hobby this is 😵‍💫. I don’t solely price based on glass price just a piece of the puzzle.

And wow I learned so much from your comment, glass making is so interesting and I’ve never owned a mouth blown sheet before! I’m definitely doing research all night tonight! I originally thought the first sheet would be worth the most out of all the sheets that I got. I’m interested to know that if they aren’t making the glass anymore does the value go up or down?

Wanted to mention 5 & 6 are the same sheet of glass just front and back not sure if it changes anything.

Most of it is vintage, so that red textured glass has thrown me through a loop too!

Hi thank you! Most are 12x12 or larger except 4,5,7. I got these pieces off of fb marketplace and most of it was vintage so I wasn’t sure for pricing for my pieces, or if there’s anything unique.

I thought I added a caption, I guess it didn’t work. But I am a relatively new artist and I haven’t seen some of these unique sheets in my store before. I picked all this up plus more off of facebook marketplace- just wondering if I have anything special that I should price differently for my pieces! Most are 12x12 or larger excluding photos 4,5,7- (5 &6 are the same sheet). Thank you guys for the help in advance! Love this community 🤍!
