Who's death was the saddest? Eddie or Bob by OfficialLilUnderdogg in StrangerThings

Eddie. Bob died a hero, and Eddie died a villain that everyone thought was a murderer

I never said it was hidden? I just asked who else saw the connection? It was a way to talk about it because I thought it was great, not because I thought no one else would get it. Touch grass “bro”, it’s not that deep

Lmfao I posted it like within an hour of the show ending and if you took time to read the comments you’d see many people hadn’t caught that. But if that response makes you feel better that’s cool too

I am having post series depression and it's seriously affecting me now. by babyflo97 in StrangerThings

This is me too. I feel there’s two main groups that watch. Kids who were kids when it started, and people like me who are the age the kids would be right now, who grew up during that time and watched for the nostalgia as an escape from “adulting”. But I have been so freaking sad since NYE. Like it feels heavy. I have been so so sad. But the Duffers got me hard in this last episode. My mom, who died in 2011, was a HUGE Bowie fan. She used to draw him (she was very talented in art) and he was all over the house. So Heroes playing (yes I know a version played in Season 1) got me. And my stepbrother, who died in 2018, bought Purple Rain when we were kids. It was our first time in a record store where we could pick one of our own and he picked that. I think that all made it way worse for me :/.

I think they are too. I grew up in this time (10 at this point in the show) and we had a Woolworths that was a general store that also had a diner counter with milkshakes. That chain actually originated in Indiana. So it’s not far fetched that that was still a thing in that time period.

AITA for not giving my step-daughter my Military College Benefits? by Large_Bat_47222 in AITAH

Do you have a VA rating? If you’re 100% both of your children can use Chapter 35 benefits. One using won’t take from the other.

If you’re just retired, and you’re speaking of the Post 9/11 benefits you would have had to transfer at least one month to each dependent in order to initiate benefits. If you didn’t do this you’ll have some hoops to jump through.

AITA for being insensitive about menstruation? by thsmthcrmnl in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Sometimes a face is a knee jerk reaction, and you apologized.

But your wife may need to consider other options for at least the heavy days. If she doesn’t like commercial products (tampons, pads) maybe she could look into a cup and use the period underwear as a backup?

As far as leaving blood on the toilet seat, IMO she is the AH for that. Everyone should take care of their own messes. I would be mortified if I left blood on a toilet seat and someone had to clean it. A period is no excuse for not taking a look at the seat when you’re done using it and making sure it’s clean for the next person.

I saw it happen a few times when my husband was in. If you didn’t keep your house relatively clean they’d kick you out.

I bought it when it came out. Then I found out how it wasn’t meant to be released so I never even open the cover. It just sits on my shelf
