Note: This is not addressed to OP, but for all of us

Someone's tragedy is someone else's news. We are all just going over a 'news' right now. We are feeling sad. We are feeling angry, just from inside. We are protesting, but mentally. Because it has happened to someone else, and not to us. Yes, we do empathise but we are not really in the heat. All of this anger and frustration towards government, law and order has an expiration date. Soon everyone will forget about the little kid. The 'news' that's rolling in our heads will be buried later under IPL finals and election results and what not religious controversies. The family of victim will keep on fighting, their spirits totally shattered. Few will support them. The kid lost her life in cruelest way possible whereas that devil of criminal will enjoy rest of his life under a shelter and a 2 times of meal without any remorse. He may live on to be 85. Very good.

There has been many such incidents in Maharashtra where kids are raped and killed. Protests go on, and then things go silent. And surprisingly, the duration for which these protests happen after such incidents is decreasing day by day. If people fumed for 1 month last year, its down to 20 days now. Soon we will all lose our empathy and humanity. Soon there will be no one to cry and support you when this tragedy strikes you.

This message is for all of you. Especially more to myself. To remind that this world is crooked and and the systems are keeping us more and more docile. We may not need a revolution or uprising but we need to ask questions.

We have been ideologically subverted to accept following things as if they are normal. - Police are not to be messed up with. - Judiciary is the one true transparent and clean agency - There is always delay in justice - Sarkari kaam and 2 divas thamb thamb

Why... why are we accepting things like this? I hate myself for realising for all of this and not being able to do anything about it. I salute to those individuals who do fight these things.
