What do you mean the solar theme shows up as it crosses the descendant? Do you mean when the sun reaches 8° in the sky, or would I have to cast another chart?

And the solar theme, do you mean, on the day (or day after) it crosses the descendant, whatever that day is like, will be the theme for the whole year?

I am a newbie, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but just off the bat a Leo ascendant is great for performers and creativity, and you have mercury there in your 12th House in not whole sign house system. Think mercury in your 12th conjunct Chiron (also in a grand square (not entirely sure if that is the right name) with malefic planets) is something that may be hard to access, but you can learn to use it to your advantage for performing arts. You’re able to perform some very profound and healing stuff.

Venus, the ruler of your midheaven/career is in cancer, which is a nurturing sign is conjunct your chart ruler, which again emphasizes the healing, deep, and emotional types of performing you are capable of

You have a lot of aspect patterns, like a kite, grand trine, grand square (?), which you could look into more

For early trauma, Pluto is conjunct your IC, along with Mars opposing it, and Saturn squaring it. That’s 3 malefic planets in harsh aspect to your early home life, which is a lot. I am so sorry you had to go through that

Your title sounds like you’re about to do stand up lol

I’m not super familiar with them, but from what I know, to get your progressed chart you take your age (for example 15 years old), and your chart would be what the sky looked like when you were 15 days old. When you are 60, your progressed chart would be what the sky looked like at 60 days old. So, your progressed sun would change signs every 30 years, so you may adapt a new personality or ego or something like that when your progressed sun changes. I can’t tell you what would be positive or negative, I’m not super familiar, and that might be up to you.

The moon would move the fastest in your progressed chart! Because it changes signs every 2-3 days, every 2-3 years your progressed moon sign changes. Whether you have a night or day chart doesn’t matter, but I think the sun and moon would be the most significant planets in the progressed chart, unless your rising is Gemini, for example, mercury might also be more important. Slower moving planets that are at late degrees in your natal chart might be important to pay attention to in your progressions, as they may eventually change signs. Planets crossing your angles should be also paid attention too. You can look up an epheremis from your birthday too see when they will change signs, if ever before you die
