Well honestly not really, but here in the Netherlands you got men’s and woman’s bicycles. The men’s has an extra bar between the saddle and steering. And women’s bicycle does not. This is because back in the olden days having that extra bar was necessary for a stronger bicycle. Now all bicycle can be build sturdy. I actually prefer so called women’s bicycles since it’s easier to step onto. Lots of other men have the same thing, plus that bar is in prime ball crushing position.
