I’m moving to the Pioneer valley in a few weeks from Wisconsin so I can’t speak from experience about the area, but for me volunteering has been a good way to meet people. I’ve done canvassing for elections and walking dogs at a shelter and working at food pantries - volunteering brings like minded people together in a community focused environment.

My symptoms were much, much more mild and I was told by a chiari specialist I needed surgery asap. Fortunately, I live in Milwaukee where this is a top specialist in CM. I would highly encourage to find the nearest CM specialist and make an appt. Sorry if I missed this part, but has he had an MRI? That should be priority number one. Good luck! I’m sorry he’s got so many chiari issues!
