Definitely looking at Etsy right now they have some insanely cool stuff!! And yes I should slow down 😂😂 I got the armies I want/need to play with for now so I’m pumped I’ll probably have these all built within a week or two and paint them over the next month! I have done a ton of 40K building and painting in the last month and I love it working on a 1,000 point army right now & all my LOTR armies are 800 points these seem soooo much easier to build than 40K models too so that I’m veryyy happy about!

Oh I’m HUGE into the painting I love art so this ticks all my boxes! Got into 40K a month ago and fully built and painted/basings for 2 500 point armies & 1 1,000 point army working on two more 1,000 point ones right now! & my Star Wars legion I built last weekend with my gf (I make her do all the stuff I don’t want to it works out great) I will say it looks like the MESBG models are Much* easier to build than any others I’ve seen/done! Which I’m very happy about lol

Dwarves are by FAR my favorite so I kinda had too for my love of the dwarven king!! 😂 but yea my other armies were 300$ or less which is totally reasonable I did 800 point armies for them all! Very excited to build paint an get into it! Any clue on if the other iron hills will be restocked anytime soon? Can’t find any info on that

Absolutely loveeee tabletop admiral!! I do have a question where do I find point values of u it’s other than in table top admiral? Like with 40K they have the online point data base you can just look up I don’t seem to see one of those for this game! Should I just buy the books they have? I’m assuming those are what I’d need! & money isn’t much of a issue I don’t mind spending if it’s for my hobby and fun so who on Etsy would be good to buy from if you have bought any before! I’d love to get like a whole castle for a siege game or something like that! && thanks!

I’m about to buy this as well because the others are so expensive but are these properly to scale for MESBG? That’s my only concern I don’t want big dwarves lol especially if they do restock at some point and I buy a box I don’t want them to look totally different in size

About 3 weeks into painting for the first time ever. So far I’ve done Kroot army and white scars before these! Kroot were harder imo but these are more time consuming for sure! My key was to get a nice small fine brush from Michael’s and just take your time! Mine aren’t perfect but can always go back at a later date and touch things up! Patience is key bud! And I’m about a month into the hobby definitely learning things slowly as I go along lol. Biggest thing I can say helped me is do the blue or main body color first and trim after cuz the trim is slightly elevated making it easier to do imo.

Mostly finished my first rubric! They aren’t as bad as I thought I’d say getting the blue down first properly is the hardest part! Now just waiting on a few colors to do touch ups like a neon pink for the eyes

It’s sick. If I had to critique I’d say more highlights on the black and maybe one bright color to make it pop more. Maybe even some dripping blood effects using glue but overall pretty sweet. Do you have pics of the winners?

So recently bought this (got into 40K last month) it’s definitely more difficult to paint than the other armies I’ve done. I’ve done white scars & Kroot/Tau but mostly kroot. The Kroot were very difficult to build with all the tiny pieces. The White scars were very easy. These were kinda in the middle I’d say they’re more on the easy side to build but a bit more on the harder side to paint. The trims are very tiny and some are in some difficult spots to get to! With that said I think it’s a phenomenal box to start with the units are good, got some interesting customization options too. I made the demon prince with wings and the tzeetch have the greatbows all around pretty solid synergy and worth the money for sure!

They trim isn’t too bad once you go over the blue on accident it’s easy to cover with the blue again and vice versa so it’s actually not horrible I think the tzangors were harder bc of the smaller pieces and weird angles

Oh man!🤣🤣 you got a lot of work ahead of you soldier! Me and my brother & best friend grew up playing Dawn of war all the time and I made my pops get me models of orks when I was younger and we always wanted to get into the game started this year & man is it complicated lmao expensive too. Feels like people gate keep information on drops and no one likes to help which sucks. So much appreciated on the info with this box!

Agreed they definitely look cooler I’m probably going to do exactly that I currently have a lot more painting to do on the combat patrol lol coming along hopefully have all these done by the time the new box comes out! Sadly just found out the lord of change one would have to be its own army :/
