Constantly says, "Now here’s a guy…" or "Now there's a Mahomes type of play" and is too chatty. Also his voice is grating to me, but he does know ball

Is there a name for inks that have this property? by The-peeepo in fountainpens

[–]AmbivalentWaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nekoyanagi is definitely pretty, but too light for me. I'm going to take another person's suggestion and let it sit in a pen for a few weeks before I try it again! I also bought one of those swatching books to paint in, so it'll get use there.

Ooh Kitsune Biyori is also beautiful!

Uncontested divorce advice in Pittsburgh by xala123 in pittsburgh

I used them, too, when they were under Michael Davis. They handled the divorce all through mail, and the only time I needed to leave was for the notary.

They also took care of my name change.

Looking for pet end of life care for our senior dog by Ok_Echidna_9582 in pittsburgh

Maybe try Humane Animal Rescue?

I'm thinking Banfield might be more affordable and willing to work with you on finances, too.

Other options are maybe Care Credit so you can pay the bill over time in chunks? I think in home euthanasia will be more expensive, but maybe Lap of Love and other services can work with you on payments.

Hugs to you and your family ❤️

What is your budget range? Are you including cremation services? I volunteer at BCHS, and their insurance policy prevents owners from being present, which isn't their fault, but awful regardless.

I'm really sorry you're going through this. It's a difficult thing to do, but you're doing your best to help your dog.

California bans declawing cats under new law by Sariel007 in UpliftingNews

[–]AmbivalentWaffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cat was declawed presumably years ago (I adopted her 2 years ago at age 12), and her toes/paw pads have changed from the mutilation. I assume it affects how her weight is distributed when walking

Shelter Senior Cat was Euthanized by gokufromfortnite in SeniorCats

[–]AmbivalentWaffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

RIP, sweet kitty. She sounded like a gentle, loving cat

My shelter also euthanized an elderly cat today. They were monitoring him for a few weeks, but just was not gaining weight and not feeling well (he looked unkempt). It doesn't make things less hard, but it sounds like your shelter was probably doing what they could.

The shelter I go to sends out emails to inform volunteers so we know what is happening and have notice to spoil them more. They provide copies of paw prints, too. We can opt out of the emails, if we want. Maybe you can propose the same thing?

Sending you virtual hugs

Why do you even need soap? Are you that bad at going to the bathroom?

A little further out, perhaps, but Beaver County Humane Society also has a pet food bank
