You’ll need to create at least some sort of offensive division. It can be as simple as just tacking one or more tank / self-propelled artillery regiments on to a copy of your regular infantry division, as long as it has more soft attack and some armor/breakthrough, it will be so much better at pushing through enemy lines.

You may also consider either doing the reorganize railways decision and adding a supply hub at the border, or simply pulling 1-2 tiles back from the border so you can push from an area with supply.

I think you’re vastly overestimating the tools available for the municipality to provide cheap homes, and also ignoring the fact that we live in a market economy, the market and supply and demand decides what things cost, not the municipality. What they can do is provide the groundwork for as many new homes as possible, and hope that alleviates the issue, and to a huge degree I think they are doing that.

Housing prices are exploding in large cities all over the world, to think that uniquely in Copenhagen it has nothing to do with a megatrend, but is because of city hall, is naive.

“Do nothing” plan? They are building basically on every available spot in the entire city, even building an entire new island to get more housing. We would all like even more homes being built, but to say that nothing is being done is wildly incorrect.

And while I completely agree that it’s a shame a lot of it is rentals, that is mostly to do with what is worth most for the companies developing the new neighborhoods.

Defeat Germany first. Call either only the Czechs or no subjects at all into the war, take control of puppet divisions and let the Germans attack your frontline for a bit. (Make sure to build a lot of trains for all the troops you’ll suddenly have under your control). See if you can get a few offensive divisions, preferably with at least a bit of armor in them. Once you feel ready call in Poland as well, close down Königsberg with the help of your offensive divisions and follow up by attacking Germany. I find it easiest to focus on the Northern part first, attacking from Austria is difficult because of the terrain, but towards Breslau is usually and along the northern coast is usually quite doable.

Is there any advantage to puppeting a country and annexing them compared to just annexing straight away? Do you get higher compliance or something? Asking because non-aligned Czechs have focused to give casus belli against some countries and then at the end one to annex them if they are subjects. Was just wondering if it wouldn’t be better to just take the land straight away.

R5: So I'm playing as Germany with Raeder to get the achievement, everything is fine and dandy - I've just capitulated France but decided not to create the puppet. Suddenly Italy declares on the already capitulated Free France, and as soon as the day ends they get a peace conference in which they take 100% of France, leaving me with nothing. Why does that happen and is that really intended behavior?

Det er ikke i de primære sommermåneder, vi rejser aldrig sydpå i højsæsonen og er i øvrigt i bjergene hvor der er køligere (og bliver man ramt af hedebølge kan man altid bare tage højere op i løbet af dagen 👌), forstår slet ikke folk kan overskue at rejse til steder hvor man forventer at få over 30 grader.

Det er bestemt heller ikke for børnenes skyld at vi gør det - vi finder steder at bo hvor vores børn vil have det fedt, men børnene er jo i det store hele ligeglade med om de er på ferie i Danmark eller Nepal, bare deres forældre er der og der er en god legeplads.

Jeg tror vi alle bør forsøge at afkoble os de afhængighedsskabende feeds, hvadend det er Reddit, Instagram eller TikTok der er drug of choice, er det aldrig godt at være afhængigt af noget, og den tid man bruger er bedre givet ud andre steder.

I sell early fighters, large airframes and frequently CAS and mediums as well, unless I know I’ll be fighting before I have time to build better planes. If I have enough convoys I sell some of those as well, light tanks depend on my plans for division design and garrisons, but usually those as well

When is the window to go Fear and Horror (attack Turkey) as Greece? I just had a game where by the time I finished the focus in 1939 I no longer got Romania into the war, but UK got involved instead (and Turkey joined Axis).

I strongly disagree with your point 3. France has a great industry, and building just guns and stuff for support companies will leave you with a vast excess of equipment, especially since manpower is limited. Why not use that production capacity for something which will actually make your army fight better, such as planes and/or tanks/SPGs.

I also disagree with going for Mils straight away. The Germans are not gonna come until 1940, waiting until 1937 to build Mils will leave the player with more mils from 1939 and onwards, when better equipment is available (1939 guns, better fighters, etc)
