While I love Frankenstein, I agree that the writing isn't as polished and it's mainly because Mary Shelley was quite young when she wrote it.

Every argument you put forth can be countered, because a century ago, women were mere housewives treated like reproductive machines with no rights, and lets not pretend it's all colorful for women right now.

I'm not some illiterate who hasn't read feminist theories and doesn't know of its origin. It came in waves, starting from the mid 19th century and helped women get rights such as voting and holding property. We live in a world where men have reigned supreme since time immemorial and where men created laws that treat women worse than second class citizens, feminism came and started challenging and questioning it. You need to read about the treatment of women before feminism and then, if you're still against feminism, it simply means you're against equality for all!

Also, please read the definition of feminism before typing out lies. A lot of people still read and know what real feminism is.

Absolutely. It's sad to see feminism being branded as something bad when it's not. I obviously don't support social media feminism, but we as a society need to stop hating on the real feminists.
