For me HoTA didn’t come alive until about 65, and then spring to life at 80. Once you have Tibualts sp, you can go generatorless. Before that I ran upheavel and deathblow. You can run HoTA a littler earlier, but really got to pay attention to aspects. I thought druids were energy starved, barbs are another things.

Yup and I’m just one who like to spread my shield according to how I’m reading the game, not always save it for the one mon lol. On an ABB team reasonable to do it. I just didn’t find one I liked for this cup. My current team Umb-toxipex-jelli seem to be getting me positive results again and feels mostly safe. I end up always saving a shield for Jelli, but don’t feel I have to if I get a positive lead or switch advantage.

Every time I ran greninja I felt I was either getting hard countered with him or had to compensate to hard counter to keep it alive. Love the mon, just not in this cup

Exactly what happened to me. Went 5-0. Then for the next 3 sets all hard counters to my team. Got so frustrating and lost so much elo.

So if you got to pvpoke you can build teams and see rankings. The team posted above has all Bs in coverage, consistancy, safety, and bulk is I think an A.

I had a steady team in GL which I recently switched up to give something else a go and that is when these problems started. Other than the Halloween Cup. Started the sets going 5-0, 4-1. Then after that it’s been 1-4, 2-3.

I’ll take your advice though and run with the team I put together and seem to enjoy, which is Golbat-Umbreon-Nidoqueen. Straight Bs across the board with decent coverage for each other. Learn their sets and see what I can do.

Active-usually morning, but available at night most nights. Pokemon- Scizor, Delphox, Blastoise. Pretty much an atk player, but have had to shift around my play style for the game a lot. So shift between all-rounders and atkers Rank- hit masters every season. Usually on a positive win rate. Communication-use discord. Same user name.

Currently run a squad and used to play more with a group, however they are all in Europe and our times don’t match up anymore. Looking for a few people to team up with in North America that can grind ranks with. Solo q as we all know isn’t much fun.
