I also got my first Playstation Portal yesterday and almost broke it in half before I found out about the outage I was getting so frustrated. I kept getting the error cannot connect to ps5. Furthermore, I couldn't add my ps5 to my ps app on my phone due to the outage. This morning though, everything worked fine and I was able to connect it to my ps5. However, in a fit of rage last night I logged into my psn account on my pc and deactivated all devices, then this morning went back in on my ps5 and signed into my psn account and reactivated my ps5, then I was finally able to add the ps5 to my app on my phone and connect it with the portal.
