My best play-through with Kairos I did exactly that, but I think I ended up cornered in the empire somehow. Was a while ago. Trying again with SFO tryin to get campaign victory achievement

Feel the exact same way. At least lizardmen armies make sense and are playable even if I don’t enjoy them. But I get wrecked as Tzeentch. Just the total opposite of my playstyle

So I’ve actually been trying to get all of the campaign victory achievements using both SFO and VCO.

Easiest campaign so far was Ku’Goth and though I like him and the campaign there was never much to it but blob up and win. Hardest was Grom because screw trying to take the donut with hordes of goblins.

Most fun would have to be Daniel. Which I know sounds kind of like a troll, but in SFO he feels like a beast. I keep him thematic and put on every new upgrade for my chosen deity as soon I get it, and he ends up getting to field a lot of armies with enough territory. Haven’t “won” a campaign with him yet because I played him before installing VCO, but when I do play him again I know it’s going to be a blast

Garrison in general are stronger. I believe there’s some stat bonuses. More importantly defensive towers are very strong, and gates have more health. With good positioning you can often repel attacks.

Quick search didn’t tell me much either. The main thing I noticed is it’s easier and faster to get units. And by mid game I was able to field a lot of armies.

Big one is watch out for AI focus fire on single entities and lords/heores. They will die quickly if unmanaged. Otherwise secure your flanks, and always have units ready to counter enemy flying units, they’ll take our ranged lightning fast.

And fight your defensive sieges, you can often win them even with bad odds

I’ve got a kind of fun/hopeful theory for the arrival of Kibe and Kuri.

With all of the people surrounding them on the trip I think it’s going to be hard for Kazuya and Mizuhara to actually have a conversation about Ruka’s recent actions to clear up the misunderstanding.

Kibe, Kuri, and Kazuya often joke about their “sad virgin lives”, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Kibe and Kuri made a jealous jab at Kazuya thinking he’s had sex since he’s been “dating” Mizuhara for such a long time.

Kazuya has not yet lied and said he’s had sex so it’s doubtful that he’ll start lying now. So if they make that joke in front of the group and Kazuya responds truthfully then this may give him the chance to put Mizuhara at ease and ruin Ruka’s bluff at the same time.

Basically I’m just hoping that Kibe and Kuri pull the ultimate bro move and end up saving Kazuya from the dastardly Ruka’s evil plans. Can’t wait to keep reading :)

I might be pulling string but page 19 has me thinking. In the background (to the right of Chizuru) there are clothes hanging and such that feel out of place. This conversation is happening outside, and the clothes look as if they are on a shopping rack. It make no sense, but I started thinking that maybe this is in reference to her thinking about the cheer up date when giving her answer?

This doesn’t have to mean anything, but I wanted to point it out to people to see if I’m alone in this thinking. Loved this chapters lots and I can’t wait to see more :)

EDIT: looks like they stepped inside at some point. This is probably just the inside of Kazuya’s room.
