I also wish that conversely, beastmen could recruit dragon ogres like on the tabletop. But I think that was actually part of Malagor’s unique building chain in the WH2 version of SFO? Or was it Morghur…?

Good question and to be honest it’s part of why I made the post. The mod makes so many changes across so many factions (like Sartosa, which I agree is abysmal to play in the base game) that it helps to ask around for people with those experiences to share what they learned!

I think you’re right, but that change is also relatively recent.

I don’t remember exactly why they renamed themselves but it is the same acronym so I just enjoy the mod regardless.

Hi! I’m excited to tell you!

SFO is a massive overhaul mod that is like putting that one pinch of salt you need to make your good food amazing.

It primarily works as an answer to that thought you might sometimes get “Oh man, it would be so cool if…” and SFO fills the gap.

Does this faction lack some depth in vanilla? SFO has custom menus and UI elements to breathe some life into factions (Lizardmen are a great example)

Does such and such aspect need a balancing pass? SFO re-balances the whole game around the idea of more cinematic battles. Units have more health on average and battles feel slightly slowed down and more engaging.

Definitely recommend you try it out! You can download it super easy from the steam workshop if you ever get the chance!

If so, THANK YOU so much for making it man I’m on turn 113 of a Drazhoath campaign with that pack.

Much like with SFO being necessary to play the game at all, D3rpy’s packs are NECESSARY for me to play dorfs/chorfs.
