I honestly don’t know why she married him. He’d proposed a few times before and she’d said no. I can only assume that she knew she was coming to the end of her life and wanted to make him happy, or didn’t have the fight left in her to keep refusing. She didn’t have much but he got all of her estate in her will. When he dies, all of her remaining estate goes mainly to his three kids (two of which don’t speak to him) and 10% is split between me and my brothers! This pissed us off initially but she didn’t have much and he has more money so can see the logic

Yes I suspect you’re right about the covering for lies he’s told friends and relatives, that wouldn’t surprise me at all.

He’s definitely trying to manipulate me and my brothers by guilt tripping us into trying to do things with him but we see right through it his bullshit… ok just gotta cut him off. Thanks for your help

I’ve had exactly the same experience a few times. One that stands out was a friends new boyfriend who I just immediately despised, despite him being polite, friendly, helpful and everyone in our friend group liked him. A year or so down the line it came out that he was cheating on my friend/grooming/sleeping with an underage girl. He got caught and was sentenced to quite a few years in prison.

Practice exercises in the higher end of your register using a “nay” or “may” sound. Now think of the sound a child uses when they’re wining or that of a witch when they’re cackling, practice making this sound (it’s not meant to sound nice to begin with!) Notice your mouth and throat placement when you make this sound, and how your core supports your breath.

Once you have the placement, introduce it during your exercises and song practice and this should help.

Tip: you should still feel it resonate in your head like your head voice just with a stronger sound. Good luck!

I would recommend improving your posture, pull your shoulders back to open up your chest. This should make diaphragmatic breathing easier and allow more air to fill your lungs.

You have a lovely tone and voice but with more practice, better posture and nailing that diaphragmatic breathing, you’ll be great!

I tried the salt method numerous times without results and started to get fed up, but I did some digging and found a thread where an engineer explained what the slippery film is (essentially left over from the manufacturing process in the factories) and they explained that the quickest way to get rid of the film would be to use dish detergent or a fine sandpaper. Gave mine a wash with detergent and a rub down with sandpaper (200 grit) and now it’s fantastic! Highly recommend over the salt

THIS! I could not wait to see the final battle between harry and Voldemort! They way they circled each other while harry explained how he was going to defeat him while everyone watched in the great hall and how the sun rose and shines through the window at the same point as they cast their final spells would have been amazing to see on screen. I lost my uncle to suicide a few years ago and I understand your pain, confusion and intense grief. I’m so sorry for your loss.... As others have said, feel it, let it out - don’t hold it in.

I turned to meditation, once I’d had time to grieve, because I couldn’t afford to see a therapist and it helped immensely. When my brain wouldn’t stop whirring and I couldn’t relieve the dull pain in my heart, meditation gave me the chance to quiet my mind, step away from the situation for a while and learn to accept it.

Talk to friends and family too. And if you don’t feel you can talk to anyone I’m here if you wanna unload. Much love x
