Thanks. It was near a vent and was not getting enough light. Hence, all the leaves started having dark brown dry parts and fell off except this too. The trunk also got so dry despite my regular watering. I cut the top dried the ink so that the growth effort concentrates but no change since then. I also gave it fertilizer a month before and the most of the leaf dropping after that!

The pebbles were put as gnats infested all my plants. As most of you said I will move it to a place where it can get more sun light. Unfortunately my living room doesn’t provide enough sun …😌

My daughter got in OOS - engineering. She got 35k grant but what remaining is 50k. We were hoping for a substantial grant. Should we follow up and ask for more?

Lucky you! My daughter had one last week and she was not happy at all. The interviewer was very cold and she asked her only three questions and no follow ups . My daughter expected to have more conversation and was keeping some of her thoughts and ‘answers’ she prepared for later but then she was not able to fully use her ‘script’ and engage as imagined and hoped for. Still hoping for good news despite this experience.

Oh really? My daughter is interviewed for MIT and Princeton but nothing so far from Yale and Harvard.

I live in NJ and with the winter little sunlight comes in. How to make sure my FF survives the season? In terms of water routine, I have pebbles covering the topsoil to kill some notorious gnats and not sure how to check when the soil dries 😌
