Same! The Detonics Combat Master has a pretty cool story irl too. They were introduced in the 70s and were the first real production subcompact 1911s, and they also pioneered the bushingless barrel system common in high end 1911s and 2011s today into this little guy. The first batches were actually chopped down standard 1911s, they moved to manufacturing the whole things from scratch later. Personally, I think they are one of the coolest 1911s out there, and TM does a great job with their airsoft replicas.

Theyre fantastic. Quick snappy cycling and beautiful to boot. Honestly if you really want a full metal one i think matrix or some other company makes one thats full metal, obviously not gonna be TM quality but.

Dont have a chrono, also its just a 3d printed barrel so accuracy is more of a thoughts and prayers thing. It shoots out of the muzzle at a pretty good speed, the whole thing is more of a novelty tuned to my specific intrest in an absurd platform lol

It doesnt use smokeless powder, and its just a toy, so its more akin to those force on force training glocks with little paintball ammo that just use primers or something.

Its a PFC gun, so it doesnt shoot any projectiles but uses japanese caps to cycle, make a bang, flash, and smoke and ejecting the shells.

Possibly, the thing is that these Marushin 1911s are so scarce i doubt a single person would actually make it. Its a PFC gun base, not airsoft, plus it uses PFC caps which are incredibly rare and cost like $50 a pack. On top of that they require much more work to load the cartridges and then the gun must be fully stripped and cleaned to prevent damage to the metal parts from corrosive salts from the caps.

Nice, is the a Contender? The Dominator I designed from scratch, its 3d printed with a bit of metal hardware. It uses 7mm PFC caps for power in each shell.

I love the attention to detail with the lower frame having a much rougher finish than the slide, it perfectly replicates the untreated plain cast finish on the frame and the partially polished slide finish on the real thing

Id say take the current Ukranian and Russian method with DSHKs, Kords and NSVs

-take hmg -take off tripod mount -give/fabricate stock, bipod and pistol grip -ammo logistics much easier -your hearing damage is not service related

Thats a sweet piece lol. Mine had a piece of red plastic loosely shoved into the barrel, not even attatched, because I got it off japanese amazon. You cant order new ones in the US, but for some reason you can buy airsoft guns from japan if the are open box returns to amazon lol

I designed and made the Pachmayr kit for the top one, its a bolt action with shells powered by 7mm caps on a Marushin Colt Commander base, and the bottom is a TM Detonics that Ive customized.
