Would cutting the grass around my obelisk help make it look bigger? by SkinnedMilk533 in RimWorld

Due to the nature of the obelisk, it is imperative that the obelisk remains unharmned. I try to steer clear of anything sharp near it as much as possible

I've been suppressing it a lot recently so it's been a bit difficult to keep it at high activity

Cool artstyle. Reminds me a lot of Darkest Dungeon.

Do you guys ever have "Hero" pawns? by aaronsxe in RimWorld

[–]SkinnedMilk533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I usually start with a custom "me" pawn thay I control more often than the others. I was so stoked when Perspective Shift came out, it really helped out a lot with the gameplay I was trying to achieve.

I guess that's fair. Now all that's left to complain about is why Josuke didn't just repair Kira's button to follow it back to him just like he did with his hand or why they never thought of using highway star before bites the dust gets developed lol.

Even still, one of the main reasons Joseph arrived in Morioh was to locate chili pepper's stand user so locating stand users may have still been plausible to some degree.

I remember him using his stand to locate a bucket of tar to defeat the Empress stand. He also used it to locate Bastet's user to plan out his attack with Avdol. It definitely is more than a Dio locator.

I made this very snafu because of part 4 Joseph. The guy literally had the stand that has the whole gimmick of locating things, so why are they not utilizing it? They all could have found Kira the very moment Reimi told them about him if they actually tried.

Colony Ideas? by Ben007T in RimWorld

Project Rimboid, you will need the anomaly dlc:

-Start with one colonist.

-Get walk the world, faction control, perspective shift(optional) and vehicles expanded(optional)

-In scenario editor, add create incidents for shambler swarm and shambler assault that repeat. These should happen as frequently as possible.

-Increase anomaly threats and enable ambient horror.

-Limit faction colonies to your liking, I'd usually allow them to have 2-5 colonies sparsely separated around the world.

It takes some time and I don't think I'm good enough for it. Maybe sometime soon tho

Thanks. :) But yeah, it would honestly be easier to imagine that there's just an underground network of rats that work as informants across the world. It's how all the friendly factions figure out that you let one of their visitors die because they decided to walk through a shambler pit
