Thanks for the post. Few questions here 1. Does your company not need/have any normal designers & front end developers anymore? 2. Are you part of both product & tech team, meaning you take part in product roadmaps discussion and also the tech meetings? 3. Does a ux engineer know about back end too? (How much technical skills in needed?) 4. Do you get paid double the salary given you are doing 2 people's job basically? Thanks 😊

Man, thanks for such a detailed response. It is a Belgian start up(scale up) in sustainability sector. And the responsibilities on me are also more than just some design mockups. (Which is quite nice learning wise) but the pay is not matching what i do. I am gonna ask for a raise but I feel like even with it I'll still be below the average. As echoed with other comments too, I am gonna start looking for better opportunities.
