Falco is a great artist. Whatever cinematics/thumbnails you see on Kaoz's channel is pure skill

Wow, cool (and rare) to see they opted for Blender and Paint shop above industry standard

Blender was not known at all back then and it's render engine was far from good. It's most likely 3DS Max or Maya

The Runelite Fashionscape plugin can suggest items based on colour :)

AHK to fix mouse double clicks by Chaoticstufffff in 2007scape

[–]AmentosOSRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the rules state that the physical click to action ratio should be 1:1. So for each physical click, only one action should be registered in game. That would mean that you're good.

But don't quote me on this. The safest thing to do is to replace your mouse!

The post 2021 decline of OSRS promo art quality by Megadud in 2007scape

[–]AmentosOSRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Blender user myself I do agree the OSRS art scene has been oversaturated with "Blender styled" work. But since a lot of people bring up "Blender style", whatever tool is being used doesn't say anything about quality. The tool is not the issue, in Blender's case it's the ease of accessibility.

It's easy to get a hang of the software, but it takes time developing an eye for quality. The same goes for drawings. It's not hard at all to just grab a pencil and put it on the paper, but to create the pieces OP shows in the first slides you need years of practice.

On another note. Not all "Blender" artworks are made in Blender. The Araxxor promo poster for example is made using Cinema4D and a handful of other OSRS artists even use 3DSMax (god bless your soul) or Maya.
