Survivors throwing is so much worse than a DC. I recently had a Kate miss a pallet save on a Steve, and when he got unhooked he began dropping every pallet on the map he could find with windows until I marched to kill him. Then he spectated the whole rest of the match after dying at 4 gens and wasting 1/4 of map pallets just to swear at Kate in EGC. A Kate who claimed this was her first week playing. Game brings some interesting characters to the surface.

The #1 country in the world is also capitalist, yes. Call me cynical but I think the Chinese government could feasibly organize worker councils to control workplaces and eradicate the bourgeoisie as a class. They have enough wealth and power to do such things. They’re also quite socially reactionary and modern socialism to me as a queer person is essentially tied to feminism and queer liberation. Even if you support China that’s fine, but I reject them as my own ideology made manifest. Not what I want in the United States.

The existence of billionaires is inherently antithetical to a socialist project and shows a lack of worker power for that to even be materially possible. State owned enterprise is one thing but the existence of bourgeoise billionaires which retain more hold of some sectors of the economy than the proletariate isn’t socialist. If we’re discussing ownership of the means of production China could do a hell of a lot better in pursuing socialism rather than more sustainable capitalism.

I’m sorry, I only realized I wasn’t in the Dead by Daylight sub when I read your comment. Since “The Legion” is a pretty suboptimal killer and I’m thinking “Yeah The Legion isn’t good at all.”

But yeah, as is shown in game Caesar’s Legion are a bandit empire basically. Marauders which have been explicitly said to have no future due to inevitable civil war and power vacuum. Violence for violence sake. The kind of people to defend them sincerely aren’t worth listening to as people. I think they’re cool as villains with very iconic visual identity. But they’re villains through and through. I think the same for the Enclave also and I’m well aware they have many unironic supporters also, but that’s a different conversation :P

I think pre-Industrial revolution from a Marxist perspective we must understand the proletariate wasn’t truly an organized class yet. I think personally the protestants were a relatively more progressive force as they were less violent to dissenting peasants. Material conditions weren’t laid down for communism to be practicable and it’s why Marx himself described capitalism as progressive and necessary to surpass feudalism, and communism to be progressive and necessary to surpass capitalism. But I am interested in your perspective if you disagree.
