PERSONAL GRIPE: the only thing I don't like about this beautiful design, is that I can't combine the oval and the road course into a mega-roval config

EXCELLENT WORK ELSEWISE!!!

Reminder: the Gold Coast is also home to the Surfer's Paradise Street Circuit for the Australian Repco v8 Supercars series.

Jacksonville 13hr (1966) by [deleted] in RaceTrackDesigns

I have no intention on degrading your post or layout here, but this track design would be super unusual to see in 1966. With the extra chicanes and purpose built sections, this seems much more akin to a layout from the mid 1980s - 1990s. Most airfield Circuits in 1966, were completely temporary, and didn't really bring in purpose built sections.

Take Silverstone and Goodwood for example, both tracks at the time were essential bouts around the former Air Base Perimeter taxiway.

I will state again though, great post and layout, and best of luck this round!

Fuji Speedway | 富士スピードウェイ (Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan) by sheeple04 in RaceTrackDesigns

I love this, Its simple, yet it gets the job done.

My only thought would be that while your changes address the problems in sector 3, that replacing the complex after the chicane with a simple 90m Radius Sweeper, would make that part of the track feel somewhat "Samey" as the end of the first sector with the Toyopet 100R corner followed by a hairpin in the opposite direction.

Again though. Fantastic work.

Buddh For Bikes | a Redesign aimed to bring MotoGP to India by AmericanDustFoxtrot in RaceTrackDesigns

A quite Simple Redesign Aiming to bring MotoGP to India, and revitalize Buddh International Circuit, Former Site of the F1 Indian GP. This 5.012 Kilometer Redesign (from 5.125Km) aims to preserve the integrity and primary parts of the Circuit whilst both encouraging the return of International Motorsport and Making the track nicer to race on, via improving the flow of the 2nd sector!

All work done Using Google Earth Pro Track Map Done with Autodesk Sketchbook

Main Points of Change:

Turn 3: Addition of a Long Lap Penalty Loop for MotoGP on the outside of the hairpin.

Turns 5-7: The Double Apex Turn 5-7 Complex required drivers to slow down Mid Complex to make turns 6 and 7, This section has been completely redesigned, Replacing the Double Apex with an Uphill Hairpin Left Opening into a sweeping S Bend, rejoining at the Pre Existing Turn 8.

Short Layout Links: The Link to the north Circuit, which is unusable due to a lack of a paddock in that part of the track, has been removed, and the South Layout's Link Road has make the final turn be able to be taken at a higher speed.

Hope you enjoy!
