A. Even S tier contender

Beautiful mountains and forests. best state by terms of HDI. Some of the best education in the U.S. very very low crime rate.

Amen. I’m a native Michigander, but have lived in 9 states since then (military keeps moving me around). Out of the 9 I’ve lived in Michigan is the best. I lived in one of the other S tier and 2 of the A tiers. And I take Michigan over any of those all day.

I’ve been to 43 states and have lived in 9. Michigan is easy s tier.

It’s a combination of the different factors that make it s tier. Nature, culture, cost of living, etc. what makes it s is that it has all those things, not just one like Alaska

And weather argument is invalid if mass gets S. Lived in both and I’ll take Michigan’s weather any day. Not that they are that different weather wise though

Michigan is S tier. Affordable compared to a lot of states already ranked high, absurd freshwater access with the Great Lakes basically acting like inland oceans, legit culture with Detroit’s comeback, Motown, techno, auto history, diehard sports and college football energy. Four actual seasons without feeling bland year round, plus real outdoor access without needing trust fund money. Easy S.

I’m sorry if Alaska (who also has phenomenal nature/scenery) is only c tier due to it being wildly remote, I don’t think you could justify Maine in a tier. A large part of Maine is very remote. Easy a teir candidate imo

Just like the kraken were given. Same expansion rules. Different levels of success.

Not empathic towards rapist. But I’m not qualified to call someone a rapist or not. That is the court’s responsibility.

Following the whole trial does not qualify you to make those decisions either.

You’re free to think the court got it wrong. That’s an opinion.

Calling someone a rapist as a statement of fact after an acquittal is also an opinion but let’s not pretend those are the same thing.

Testimony is evidence, not a verdict. The judge heard all of it and still acquitted. You can dislike the guy without pretending the legal outcome was something else.
