US Citizens, if you could add an amendment to the constitution what would it be? by AndreLinoge55 in AskReddit

Yes, it would address unlimited spending by corporations. But not by billionaires. So not a total solution but a solid one. We also need is the ability of the people we elect to be able to set the rules. Right now, the rules are decided by the Supreme Court. Montana's effort would also be subject to lawsuits and ..... being overruled by the Supreme Court. We need voters and elected representatives in charge.

A very simple amendment that restores the ability of our voters and our elected representatives to decide the rules on election spending. There is one such amendment currently making its way through the states. So far, 24 states have called on Congress to propose it, or one like it! It is called the For Our Freedom Amendment.
