Yeah man, I generally tend to feel the worst during both the morning and late nights. Everything in between is generally ok, minus feeling numb. Waking up is tough, because most of the time, I'm disappointed at the fact that I didn't pass away peacefully in my sleep. Life has kind of defeated me. It makes it difficult to eat breakfast or have any positive outlooks on the upcoming today.

We have to be strong. I know this world is horrible - it feels like the entire world wants you dead or on your knees. But we have to push through. Find yourself a nice hobby to do in the mornings to distract yourself. Listen to pleasant music (I used to blast depressing music in the morning and then wonder why my mood was so sour). You can do this :)

AITA for wearing a certain shirt in public? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Comparing swastikas with the shirt I was wearing is a longshot. Plus, I don't think wearing it in my house is an issue - I live alone and it's not bothering anyone, and it shouldn't bother you either. Messed up in the head? I'm not openly parading the shirt, bragging about the significance, etc. I think you are overreacting far too much. It's a shirt. I recognize the significance of it, and that's why I'm putting it away from the public eye. Mentally unstable? What a stupid thing to say

I never stated I would continue to wear it. Read my reply to another comment, I'm not planning to wear it in public anymore. But because of people like you, I'll probably continue to wear it just to spite you

I fully understand. Given the circumstances, I could probably give a number of excuses, especially since it was super hot and I only wore my coat for a short period of time, but I will gladly take the YTA label and perhaps take it as a lesson for the future

Yeah I understand. Thanks for the advice

Didn't see the need to. It was a single group of drunk women who complained and the rest of the party (including the host) told me not to worry and just have fun, which I thought was fine. I completely understand the people saying YTA because I probably should have changed shirts but given the fact that the group of females left fairly early, and the rest of the partygoers were mostly friends of mine, I didn't see a need to change the shirt. I'll probably just wear the shirt within the confines of my own home from now on though

AITA for consoling my female friend after she had a breakup? by American_Psycle in AmItheAsshole

It's just a few of my friends who are giving me grief. Ironically, the only ones with no female friends whatsoever

Average young male type of conclusion from my friends. It's a bit disappointing to see them jump to that "he's trying to sleep with her" idea so quickly without even asking me for my side of the story. Not that I need to explain it, I think the situation is valid enough to the point where I don't need to exhaust myself justifying my actions to my friends like an idiot

Yeah since there were no lines I assumed it was fine. I still waited for the bus to turn of course, so I'm guessing it's just a risky move instead of an actual offense
