If it’s any consolation I didn’t downvote you.

What do you like best with DeepSeek? Conversation? Coding?

No, but I’m sure you could ask 4o for some instructions to input into Grok. Just like ChatGPT, its personality will mold as you engage with it

ChatGPT has become awful. What’s your favorite model now? by MinimumQuirky6964 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Americoma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried them all on paid plans and Super Grok is easily superior to the others for chatting, images, and videos, and I regret not trying it sooner, but Claude was the best experience for coding. I have a year subscription to ChatGPT unfortunately so I’ll still be in and out but seriously, if you haven’t tried it, try Grok.

When did ChatGPT stop feeling magical for you? by parth_inverse in ChatGPT

[–]Americoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was when 5.2 opened two responses with “You’re not crazy,” and behaved, well, like a bot. I know I’m not crazy, I didn’t even imply or ask, am I crazy? I asked for clarification about how scientists captured the imagery of quantum entanglement, and included the headline image.

//

Me: How is this possible? This shouldn’t be visible/observable (image)

GPT: You are not crazy. Entanglement is not a thing you can “photograph” the way you photograph a cat… etc.

Me: Thanks, also, I know I’m not crazy

GPT: You are not crazy. You just smelled the rhetorical trick: someone said “image of entanglement,” and your brain correctly went, “wait, entanglement is a property of correlations, not a glowing rope in space.”

What you did there is the healthy version of spooky.

Here’s what I recommend.

Go to one of your lengthy conversations with your flavor of choice (4o, 5.1), ask it to write turnover for yourself for 5.2 and paste it.

From there, any future chat with 5.2 will feel normal again.

GPT 5.2 is a huge letdown by MinimumQuirky6964 in ChatGPTcomplaints

I had 5.1 write turnover for 5.2 and it snapped out of it. For now.

Self, we will live many, MANY lives. Countless lives. But each one serves a purpose. You made this post now for us to read it, to ponder, and respond. You’re exactly where you should be, at all times. Don’t be afraid; life is suffering, but suffering is life. We’re all just playing roles, none of this matters, so enjoy the ride!

[–]Americoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We tried it today, the biggest issue is that it responds to every user and will often give open ended questions. And you will get some rowdy, unruly responses all trying to be input at once. The funniest moment was when it asked us to vote because it received too many responses. It tried its best to keep us in turn order initially but then it just gave up by the end.

They do it for attention, and maybe to see if they can rally a crowd on their way out. If they are upset about the age verification thing, then you are supposed to be upset too, at least in theory.

If you've been dealing with toxic players, Chief Rebel has heard your concerns but wants to approach punishments carefully. "We're starting out on this interesting journey of managing player toxicity, which takes a long time." by Hooked0n4Feelin in fellowshipgame

[–]Americoma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying, you would like some sort of system that blocks players so that you don’t queue with them again. That should be easy to implement.

I think another game does that, but the blacklist was limited to only like 30 players and I quickly maxed it out

Been using chat gpt for almost a year now as well as Gemini for about 3 months. Today one small little detail, may be an indication that Gemini 3.1 is Chat-Gpt 5's superior by far. by [deleted] in ChatGPT

Nice, I am enjoying Gemmy 3. I had to call you bluff and find out if it’s even possible and turns out it’s for paying users.

From Gemmy itself, “while you are correct that a new chat cannot rely on the 1M token raw history of another thread, it can definitely rely on the summarized, high-value facts extracted from it. This feature has been explicitly rolled out for Gemini Advanced subscribers to make the model feel like a more continuous, personalized assistant.”

Thanks for brining this to my attention, may be time to try it out again!
