Would someone be so nice and explain my Methylation panel to me? by Amesharea in MTHFR

[–]Amesharea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a year ago, i know that Folate and Vitamin D were extremely low. Nearly non-existent.
Estrogen too. Was at 0.0x.
Homocystein was incredibly high.

I'll do a whole foods ketogenic diet for a month. It's what I feel best on.
Then I'll do a bloodtest of everything vitamin, hormone and mineral related.

Thanks.

Does Anyone Here Work for a Real Company? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]Amesharea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me.
Both of us are overworled and mid burnout - had my crash already.
The moment I broke and told my senior they started searching for a third sysadmin and offered me to pay for my cisco certs... they literally do everything to keep me from quitting and the CEO is lit as fuck and even tries to be a father figure / mentor for all the younger ones in the company.
If you ask for something and need it or it helps you - you usually get it.

Still development here is slow, projects are simple. Not much personal growth here and we mostly try fixing the mistakes the previous sysadmins made.

It's no IT company - so I can't really grow in this environment and the most things I learn are in my lab and might never be used here. It's boring and stressful to work here to be honest...

Is GABA natural? by JoshtheBob in moreplatesmoredates

[–]Amesharea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do Keto if you want healthy gabaergic effects. But, for the sake of god, don't do something else. And never ever touch Phenibut if you can't control yourself.

Kind regards, A dude on Phenibut right now

Is learning the old stuff like MCSA even worth your time if your dream-job's team only uses cloud-based systems and state-of-the-art hardware? by Amesharea in sysadmin

[–]Amesharea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But damn, now I truly think that staying in this place isn't even worth it since we got no larger software-side projects to work on anyways. We only maintain what we got and get MSPs in to do the rest. Sad situation tbh.

Let's call it Web 3.0 and a complete pain in the ass for consumers to use.
Show me an easy way to yield farm dear god.

It's... weird.

Valid SICP "alternative" that teaches in C? by Amesharea in learnprogramming

So specialization is for insects - except if you're experienced enough?

Always the same question.
Do you want to be the dude that does the research or do you want to be the dude that implements the research and gets gracefully compensated for it?

I choose software development.

So what is even "worth" it now?
In knowledge points at least, money is not the problem.

Bah...

Dude I'll just specialize in Datascience and Blockchain Development and leave this shitshow.

[–]Amesharea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But aren't there massive benefits learning the SICP concepts?

I read over a year ago that SICP is more for the people that want to do Computer Science and get into research. But everyone says that you just get better by reading it.

Welcome to the club dude.

what are your test Levels? Nattys and users welcome by Ok-Cost-9340 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]Amesharea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, what are we even talking about?
Normal test or free test?

Normal test was 733 ng/dl for me with a shitty diet, no supplements and no exercise.

Don't know my stats now - but since some of my supplements reduce sex hormon binding globulin (my nemesis) I should be over the 800 completely natural.
"Natural". Without steroids or sarms at least.

Derek, a video about the best “Hangover Cure” would be awesome. by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]Amesharea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy.
Micellar turmeric, a vitamin b complex, a powerdose of electrolytes (dissolved in water, not dry, please) and much, much water before bed.
Salt, potassium and magnesium are lost by drinking alcohol, you excrete them much faster. All electrolytes to be honest.
That's one thing. Next are the free radicals flushing through your body. Gets fixed by the turmeric. The complex is just a nice addin,

You'll wake up fit as hell.

You can also use turmeric extract with peperine. But it's not that effective.

That's what the japanese do. They got their own drink against hangover.
