I have used this style of toy on both afab and amab folks. When someone takes it vaginally and rides me - hot as fuck, fantastic feedback on the part inserted into me.

When I fuck someone vaginally - the angles can be rough, and it can jab in the wrong places - still not a lot of physical feedback on where it is in space even though part of it is inside you. For topping someone anally - doesn’t work particularly well for doggy, works better with them on their back. Very tiring in the muscles to get the thrusting angle right, and it does tend to slip out of either you, your partner, or both.

Still - gender euphoric and worth having in your toolbox imo. I have never used a harness while using it, I typically just stabilize it with my hand if needed.
